FY2019 Town Funding

The Town of Falmouth, through the Human Services Committee, announces two Request for Proposals for Fiscal Year 2019 for non-profit agencies and partnerships to deliver programs and services that address the unmet mental health needs and substance use needs of Falmouth residents and the community.

The Falmouth Town Manager's proposed budget for FY2019 includes $20,000 to address the unmet mental health needs of Falmouth residents and $20,000 to address the unmet substance use needs of Falmouth residents.  The budget has been recommended by the Finance Committee and requires Town Meeting approval in April.

This is the Human Services Committee's second year in its funding strategy to allocate funds to address specific human service related needs based on a needs assessment conducted by the Human Services Committee in September 2016.  This funding distribution strategy has received wide support from Falmouth Town Manager, Assistant Town Manager, Finance Director, and the Board of Selectmen and received approval at last year's April Town Meeting.

The proposals and required forms below are due on Friday, April 6, 2018 in the Human Services office at 65A Town Hall Square, Falmouth, MA 02540:
