New Water and Sewer Rates
Water and Sewer Rate Increases
In the fall of 2009 the Board of Selectmen for the Town of Falmouth
voted to increase the water and sewer rates. The approved rate structure
is in effect for the current billing cycle (November 09 – May 10) and will
be reflected on the May 2010 Water / Sewer bill. This rate will be the
basis for all subsequent bills unless a modification of the rate structure
should occur.
Excess usage is water usage beyond the allowance for the period (total usage minus period allowance).
Water Excess Charges
The water rate increased from $2.55 per 100 cubic feet to $2.61 per 100 cubic feet.
Sewer Excess Charges
The sewer rate increased from $3.81 per hundred cubic feet (HCF) of water used to $6.10 per HCF.
