Town Meeting Information & Resources


Town Meeting is scheduled to take place Monday, June 22nd, 6pm at the new turf field at Falmouth High School 874 Gifford Street, Falmouth MA 02540.

Town Meeting Members that are feeling sick, are exhibiting any of the following symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell), or have potentially been exposed to someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19, should not attend town meeting.

There is limited parking, approximately 50 spots, adjacent to the field and additional parking in front of the school. In order to protect the field, Town Meeting Members are asked not to wear heels, Flats or rubber soles shoes are recommended.

Entrances to the field will be to the left and right of bleachers as you enter. Volunteers from the League of Women Voters will be on hand to take attendance as you enter. Electronic response cards will not be used to vote, if a standing vote is necessary, tellers will be assigned.

Chairs will be spaced 6 ft. apart on the turf field, Town Meeting Members are asked not to bring their own chairs as they may also cause damage to the field.

Town Meeting Members are asked to wear a Masks. If you do not have a mask one will be provided to you. Hand sanitizer will be available for those present at the meeting.

Speakers will be recognized from their seats and a microphone will be delivered to them which will be sanitized between each speaker. Town Meeting Members should consider wearing a hat and/or sunglasses and bring a reusable water bottle.

Town Meeting Members should be prepared to take up budget related Articles 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 18 and 48 only. These articles will be taken out of order by call of the chair and when complete the town meeting will adjourn for 30 days or until appropriate to reconvene.
